About MTI

Master of Information Technology Study Program (PSMTI), Faculty of Engineering, University of Mataram is a Master (S2) level study program in the field of Information Technology located in Mataram, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. PSMTI has the main goal to professionally produce graduates who can make a real contribution in the era of rapid technological development like today. Therefore, the PSMTI curriculum specifically pays attention to the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) as stipulated in Presidential Regulation no 8 of 2012 and also the curriculum preparation framework. Outcome-Based Education (OBE) recommended by the Association of Higher Education Informatics and Computer (APTIKOM). OBE is used as one of the bases for preparing this curriculum because the Regulation of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education Number 4 of 2017 states that accreditation assessment is directed at the achievement of the performance of the tridharma of higher education (outcome based accreditation); where what is meant by outcome based accreditation This is the accreditation of study programs focusing on the achievement of graduate learning outcomes (SLOs). The PSMTI curriculum also contains important components including the foundation of the curriculum, PSMTI eligibility, course formation procedures, and various other technical aspects related to the PSMTI curriculum. Furthermore, the PSMTI curriculum also adopts and values local wisdom with the aim of producing master graduates/alumni with profiles: Have high competence both independently and in groups and strong leadership, especially in the area of intelligent system, data mining and software engineering centered on tourism, agriculture and maritime and e-Government who uphold ethics, character, capability, integrity and entrepreneurship and have a spirit of lifelong learning.“.   1. Producing graduates as Software Designer, Intelligent System Designer, Network Infrastructure Designer, or Information Technology Professional
  2. Developing local potential in tourism/culture, agriculture, and maritime affairs 
  3. As a center of innovation in the fields of Intelligent Systems, Data Mining and Software Engineering centered on agriculture, maritime and tourism and e-Government to support good governance.
  4. The curriculum consists of a total of 40 credits with three main concentrations: 1) Software Designer, 2) Intelligent System Designer, 3) Network Architecture Designer, 4) Cross-field Specialization .
